In a surprising crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
